Professional Services

I currently work as an advisor to the Independent Advisory Council (IAC) of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). In this role, I support the IAC and its Reference Group members by ensuring their insights and lived experiences are brought directly to the IAC and NDIA Board. This helps shape policies and operations that are inclusive, rights-based, and responsive to community needs.

I have been working in the disability, health, and mental health sectors since graduating with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Promotion and Exercise Science). I have held leadership positions in community services and government agencies, focusing on systems reform, consumer engagement, and inclusive service design. In 2019, I founded a successful disability service organisation and have consulted widely with government and community organisations on the disability–health interface.

I also maintain a casual teaching role at the University of Western Australia’s School of Allied Health and Medical Sciences, sharing knowledge with the next generation of clinicians.

As an advocate, my work spans state and national health and disability reform, as well as international forums, including the United Nations, with a focus on advancing health outcomes for people with disability. Across all of my work, I am committed to helping organisations and communities design and deliver services that are fair, inclusive, and responsive to the people they serve.
